Where to Stay in Paris with a Large Family
When looking for accommodation for a large family in Paris it can be difficult. Many places offer “family” rooms or suites for 2 adults and 2 children, so where do you stay when you have three kids or more? Here is a list of our top hotels, apartments and rental agencies to try when you don’t know where to stay in Paris with a large family.

Paris Hotels for Families of 5 or More
Hotel Napoléon
Hotel Napoléon has several room options for families of five or more, making it a very family friendly accommodation in Paris. There are several suites which have a large bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, and a terrace or balcony.
The hotel also has a family room option with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a lounge and a patio area, which is a luxury in this city.
Hotel Napoléon has a great location, close to the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysses and the Metro.
Hotel Regina Louvre
The family package at Hotel Regina Louvre offers the perfect accommodation in Paris for families of five. Most bookings offer some form of discount on family rooms or suites and breakfast is included.
You can book a junior suite which accommodates three people, and a connecting deluxe room to make five. The Parisian Suite is also a fantastic option as there are two adult bedrooms and a child’s bedroom with bunk beds. There is also a terrace, two lounges and three bathrooms!
This beautiful hotel sits opposite the Louvre with a view of the Tuileries Garden. You could walk to just about anywhere, and come back to a peaceful view after a busy day.
Prince de Galles
Prince de Galles is a Marriott property in Paris that has an accommodation that works for a family with small children. The Mosaic Junior Suite can sleep a family with two kids and a baby, making it a great option for accommodation in Paris for families of five.
There is a king bed or two twin beds, a sofa bed, and a crib is available upon request. There is also a large lounge and bathroom. It’s equipped with the essentials, toiletries, TV and valet parking.
The location is fantastic, surrounded by the Seine, Arc De Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. There’s also the George V Metro a short walk away.
Hotel Elysees Union
The Family Apartment at Hotel Elysées Union Paris is a great option for large families. This property has an apartment that can accommodate up to six people! There’s a double bed, a double sofa bed and 2 single beds, you can also request for a crib if needed.
The lounge area is quite basic, however, it does have a table, perfect for board games and for ordering room service the hotel offers as a family.
It is a 3* hotel which makes it an affordable option considering its location near the Champs-Elysees.
Hotel de Nell
When you are looking at hotels for large families in Paris, space can be an issue. When you have older children it’s much easier for them to have a separate room from their parents and this hotel offers that. Consider booking one of the larger rooms at Hotel de Nell and an adjoining smaller one for the kids.
The property is located in the 9th arrondissement with easy access to the Palais Garnier and Galeries Lafayette.
Relais Christine
The Relais Christine is perfect for a family of five in Paris! There are multiple suites and several adjoining room configurations, so it’s easy to find the one that suits your family best.
The hotel is in the Saint Germain area near Notre Dame, Luxembourg Garden and the Seine. The Odeon Metro is also close by.
Hotel Opera Richepanse
Hotel Opera Richepanse is one of the best hotels in Paris for large families, especially when you are a family of five. The adjoining room option gives you one room with a king-size bed, another with three single beds and a lounge area. They often have deals advertised on their website to give discounts and free breakfasts, so make sure you check there before you book.
It’s ideally located a short walk from the Tuileries Garden and Madeleine Metro, making it an ideal place to explore the city from.
The Hilton Paris Opera
If you are loyal Hilton fans you will be happy to hear that Hilton Paris Opera can accommodate a family of five. The Queen Master Suites have a double bedroom, a living room and free breakfast. You will need to make a request for a rollaway bed and for one with a connecting deluxe room to accommodate everyone.
It’s located opposite Gare Saint -Lazare so if you are planning on travelling to another country or around France, it’s a convenient location to base yourselves.
La Maison Favart
This quirky hotel has lots of options to give you more space, but the one you will need is the Les Appartments De Justine. Split across two floors, there’s a master bedroom with its own bathroom, a twin room, a lounge and another bathroom. To make the room suitable for five or six the sofa can be turned into a bed.
This hotel is in Opera (also the closest Metro station), District 2 of the city. It’s a short walk to the Seine and the sights of Paris, but an even shorter walk to the major shopping centres.
Hotel Indigo Paris
Families looking for a comfortable stay in Paris, should consider the two bedroom duplex suite at Hotel Indigo Paris. With two bedrooms and a sofa bed, this can easily sleep a family of 5 in Paris.
This property is also located close to the Opera metro stop, Garnier Opera House, Tuileries Gardens, and Place Vendôme. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Louvre, so it’s truly a great location for families in Paris.
Residence and Spa Le Prince Regent
There are so many options for families, the Residence and Spa Le Prince Regent might be my favorite place to stay with kids in Paris. Families can choose from three different room configurations: L’Elegant Suite, Le Flâneur, and La Perle. They can sleep between 6 and 8 people with additional living area where everyone can spread out.
The hotel is ideally located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris with easy access to Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens.
Astotel Paris
Astotel manages a number of hotels throughout Paris. Most of them do not have family rooms, but they do have adjoining and connecting rooms for families on request. Their website allows you to filter down dates, the number of people, stars and districts, to find hotels that will accommodate your family.
All of the hotels are either 3* or 4*, so you can pick somewhere that suits your preferred location and budget.
Booking through Astotel comes with lots of benefits including an open bar in the afternoon. You can even get a pass to use the bar at their sister hotels.
Disneyland Paris
If you are visiting Disneyland Paris with a large family, there are several hotels that will work for groups of 5 or more. Check out Newport Bay Club, Hotel Santa Fe, Disneyland Hotel, and cabins at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch. Many of the other Disneyland Paris Hotels have adjoining/connecting rooms, so there really are no bad options.
If you want a hotel that is close to Disneyland Paris, without the Disney prices, consider a stay at Explorers Hotel Marne-la-Vallée or B&B Hotel. Both have options for large families staying in Paris.

When looking for accommodation in Paris for families of five , the Charles Florquet Residency apartments are hard to beat. You can find options for families with up to four children!
The three-bedroom apartments feature a double room and two twin rooms, as well as two bathrooms and a living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Add to that the spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower and you have a dream apartment in Paris.
As mentioned, the apartments are right next to the Eiffel Tower and they are also served by the Bir-Hakeim Metro line.
VRBO Apartment in Le Marais
Spacious apartments in Paris are hard to come by. A generic search will show you pretty, but rather small options. This beautiful apartment is located in the heart of Paris near Place de Vosges and Musée National Picasso-Paris.
There are two bedrooms, a large living area, kitchen, and full bathroom. There’s a nice outdoor balcony which is perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening.

VRBO Apartment near Place de la Bastille
If you are looking for an apartment close to the center of Paris, this might be the one for you. This bright flat is located next to the Marais district and has an impressive view of the Place de la Bastille. It is located on the 2nd floor and the building has an elevator.
Families will enjoy having a big living room, a cozy kitchen, large dining room table, three bedrooms (one with bunk beds), and 1.5 bathrooms. The metro station is just steps from the apartment allowing you to travel all over the city with ease.

VRBO Apartment Along the Canal St Martin
This spacious Parisian apartment covers over 1600 square feet. With three bedrooms, and two baths, everyone will be very comfortable. There’s a large living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room with a table that seats 12.
The apartment is located just outside of the city center but is very close to a Metro station that takes you into the city and it is only 10 minutes walking from Le Marais.
