We love visiting Europe with kids because it’s one of those destinations where families can experience a multitude of cultures, food, and world class attractions in a fairly compact area.

This beautiful corner of rural South West France has a great deal to offer children of all ages. It’s a safe and tranquil place (especially out of peak season), which is brilliant for young ones who enjoy everything nature has to offer.

Even though it is a big city with many historic buildings and museums, we also found plenty of parks and outdoor areas with playground and a child friendly environment that is perfect for families.
Younger children will enjoy activities such as visiting Dublin Zoo, the Airfield Farm and also the Natural History Museum, known locally as the Dead Zoo. One of the best places to take younger kids is Imaginosity, the Dublin Children’s Museum.
Lake Como is one of our very favorite European destinations to visit as a family. With it’s breathtaking scenery, incredible food, an abundant history, architecture, outdoor activities, and culture, it’s a perfect place to bring kids.
