Every time I pack for a trip, there are three things I always make sure I have: my phone, my wallet, and my headphones. I’ve tried wired headphones, over the ear headphones, and earbuds, but I never seem to find the right pair. I’m always keeping an eye out for the next best thing in wireless earbuds because I always use them when I travel. When I was given the opportunity to try the new Skullcandy Push Ear Buds, I jumped at the chance, since I’m always looking for the best technology available.

What I love about Skullcandy Push Wireless Earbuds
A 12 Hour Battery Life
If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s earbuds that barely keep a charge. These Skullcandy earbuds keep a charge for 12 hours (6 hours for the buds, and extra 6 hours in the case), which means I can take an overnight flight and never have to recharge them. The earbuds automatically turn on when removed from the case and turn off when returned to the case. They instantly pair with your phone’s Bluetooth connection when they are taken out of the case.
They fit comfortably in your ears
I don’t know why it is so difficult to find earbuds that rest comfortably in your ears, but it definitely is a challenge. The Skullcandy headphones come with Secure FitFin™ Gels which are gel pieces that secure the earbud. These ear gels ensure the buds provide the best sound quality available. I loved when I was on the plane and the snug fit helped tune out any ambient noise.
They look cool
Most earbuds are boring white or black, but these Skullcandy earbuds are a dark teal green, and their charger case is as well. They are oval shaped instead of circular. The color makes it very easy to find them in an oversized carry on bag.
These earbuds are water resistant
If you aren’t impressed yet, these Skullcandy earbuds are IPX4 water resistant. IPX4 means they are protected from a splash of water for up to five minutes.
They are easy to touch control
Skullycandy’s Push earbuds allow you to control everything with the touch of a finger. There are buttons on each earpiece to control volume and communicate with your phone. With a double tap of the right earpiece, the volume goes up. The left one will turn the volume down. Incoming phone calls can be accepted or declined with the tap of one earbud. There’s also an Activate Assistant that allows you to send messages and set reminders when you triple press either button.
Teens might want to “borrow” them
I never can seem to keep my earbuds out of the hands of thieving teens. These Skullcandy earbuds are super cool and all of their features make them ripe for being “borrowed” by teens who don’t have their own headphones. I guess my only solution will be to buy them a pair of their own, since there is no way they are getting mine.
