Happy New Year and welcome to 2015! Winter has always been my favorite time of year to cozy up with a warm blanket, a steaming cup of coffee, and a wonderful book. It is also when I begin to make travel plans for the upcoming year, and I can always count on books to provide the inspiration for our next trip. I have found 15 books to share, some I have read, and some completely new to me, that I hope will carry you away to far away lands both real and imagined.
It is difficult to know where the best places to travel will be from year to year, so for 2015 I have come up with a short list of destinations that should be on your travel radar. Some of these are from my own personal bucket list and experience, others are based on the recommendations of travel guides and magazines, and the rest are suggestions from friends and family. I tried to make the list well rounded, with something for everyone, so hopefully there is something on the list that will inspire you to travel in the new year.
